Why are team session rates lower than individual athlete sessions?

Individual athlete sessions require dedicated planning, setup time, shooting time, and post-production for a single player. Team media days allow those same production costs to be shared across multiple athletes, making the process more efficient and cost-effective for everyone involved.
Because there are minimum production costs to cover for every shoot, individual sessions are priced higher. When a team has 12 or more athletes participating, I'm able to spread those costs across the group and offer significantly more competitive per-athlete pricing while still delivering the same high-quality photography and custom-designed products.
